ANTI-DISCRIMINATION POLICY

Our School prohibits harassment and/or discrimination against employees, or applicants on the basis of sex, race, color, ethic or national origin, religion, marital status, disability, genetic information, age, political beliefs, sexual orientation, gender, gender identification, social and family background, linguistic preference, pregnancy, and any other legally prohibited basis.

Shanti Kids School admits students of any race, sex, color, national origin, religion, disability, genetic information, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, gender, gender identification, social and family background, linguistic preference, and any other legally prohibited basis to all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally accorded or made available to students at this school, including. The administration of its educational policies, admissions policies, Scholarships programs, athletic or other after-school or school administered programs.

REPORTING MISCONDUCT & ABUSE

All employees, educational support employees, and administrators have an obligation to report misconduct by instructional personnel and School administrators which affects the health, safety, or welfare of a student.

Examples of misconduct include obscene language, drug and alcohol use, disparaging comments, prejudice or bigotry, sexual innuendo, cheating or testing violations, physical aggression, and accepting or offering favors.

Failure to report misconduct may result in penalties up to termination of employment and revocation of an educator’s certificate. Legally sufficient allegations of misconduct by Florida certified educators will be reported to the Office of Professional Practices Services.
