Our Community
Relationship with Families
At Shanti Kids School, we deeply value the active involvement of families in our school community. We want every parent and authorized family member to feel welcomed, comfortable, and an essential part of our community whenever they visit our school.
We believe that a strong relationship between home and school enriches each child’s development, builds trust, and creates a loving and respectful learning environment.
Parent Involvement
We warmly invite all families to participate as volunteers in a variety of meaningful and joyful activities that enhance the school experience. Parents and family members are encouraged to support in ways such as:

- Reading or telling stories to the children
- Preparing classroom materials
- Playing educational games with the children
- Playing musical instruments, singing, and dancing
- Taking photos or recording videos of classroom moments
- Assisting on the playground
- Bringing a pet to share with the class
- Decorating classrooms and bulletin boards
- Helping with special events and field trips
- Sewing costumes or repairing toys, books, and classroom tools
- Speaking at parent meetings
- Sharing helpful resources or information with teachers, parents, and children
If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out the volunteer form in the office or sign in at your child’s classroom.
An Inclusive Community
Parental involvement is a valuable way to integrate family values, promote cultural respect, and strengthen the connection between school and home. We also encourage parents to read and embrace our school’s policies, philosophy, and goals, which are all designed to foster stronger relationships and make every family feel part of our Shanti Kids family.
At Shanti Kids, we believe that together, we grow as one community. Thank you for being part of our journey!
